Meeting with the guide at the Patti motorway toll booths for departure. The meeting will take place at the agreed time, where you will receive all the preliminary instructions for the excursion. Once organisedtransfer to Galati Mamertino, a small, picturesque village in the Nebrodi Mountains, known for its unspoilt nature and picturesque location.

Once in Galati Mamertino, the excursion will begin at the entrance to the path located in contrada San Basilio, which leads to the Catafurco waterfalls. This path is characterised by a variety of breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by oak and coniferous forests, and along the way you will be able to admire glimpses of typical Nebrodi nature, including the local flora and fauna. During the walk, the expert guide will illustrate not only the natural characteristics of the place, but also some historical and cultural details of the area, telling you stories and curiosities related to local traditions.

The walk will take about two hours, during which the guide will provide detailed explanations about the area, the plants and animals that inhabit this protected natural area. You will then reach the beautiful Catafurco Waterfalls, a true natural jewel where you can observe the crystal-clear water flowing between the rocks, creating small lakes ideal for a refreshing swim. Once at the waterfalls, there will be a break to relax, enjoy the scenery and take advantage of the packed lunch you will have brought with you. This stop will be the perfect opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the place, listening to the sound of the water and observing the peculiarities of the surrounding landscape.

After the regenerating break, we will retrace the path together to return to the cars and set off for the return journey. The return journey will follow the same route as the outward journey, once again offering the opportunity to enjoy the panorama and take a few last souvenir photos. It will be a day of contact with nature, relaxation and discovery of the Nebrodi territory.

• Degree of difficultyEasy. The route is suitable for everyone, even families with children, as long as they have a minimum spirit of adventure and adaptation.
• Length of the trekking routeabout 8 km (round trip). The route is pleasant and has no major differences in altitude, making it perfect for those who want to spend a day in the open air without too much effort.
• Recommended clothing: Comfortable hiking shoes are essential to tackle the trail safely. It is also advisable to wear comfortable sports clothing, bring rock shoes or flip-flops for any passages near water, a sun umbrella and sun cream to protect your skin during the day.
• What to bring with him: Packed lunch, binoculars to better observe the local fauna, camera or smartphone to capture the moments most beautiful of the excursion, and of course a good dose of curiosity and desire for adventure!

THE FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE

• Tips and porterage, which are at the discretion of the participants.
• Everything that is not expressly indicated in 'the fee includes', to avoid any misunderstandings.
• A daily Sport Plus policy of € 15.00 per person may be taken out for those who wish additional insurance cover.

PAYMENT METHODS

• Deposit of 30% at the time of booking, to confirm your participation and ensure seat availability.
• Balance to be paid within 30 days of departure to ensure proper and smooth planning of the activity.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• In case of a global cancellation made between 29 and 11 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee of 40% of the total amount will be charged. This policy is necessary to cover any organisational costs already incurred.
• In the event of a global cancellation made 10 days or more prior to arrival or in the event of a 'No Show', a cancellation fee of 100% of the total will be charged. This measure is intended to cover the out-of-pocket expenses already committed to the organisation of the event.
