Explore the heart of Sicily with an exclusive tour that will take you to some of the most fascinating villages in the Madonie Mountains. This unique experience will guide you through age-old traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and a warm welcome, typical of this land. Three days of immersion in history, nature, and culinary delights to experience the most authentic Sicily.

Day 1: Castelbuono and Geraci Siculo

The day begins in Castelbuono, a fascinating Madonite village, with the special 'Manna Experience'. Discover the magic of manna, the 'white gold' of the Madonie, a sugary sap extracted from the ash tree, now a Slow Food presidium. During the guided excursion, you will pass through the enchanting landscapes of the Madonie Park, amidst butterflies and unspoilt nature, until you meet an expert who will reveal the secrets and culinary and cosmetic uses of manna, complete with tastings and the preparation of a customised face cream.

Lunch will be an experience of authentic flavours at the Museum-Trattoria 'Il Rifugio dell'Aquila' in Geraci Siculo.Subsequently, this restaurant is renowned for its local, zero-kilometre cuisine and cosy atmosphere that reflects the village's ancient traditions.

In the afternoon, you will explore Geraci Siculo, a village that seems straight out of a history book, with its narrow alleys and medieval houses perched on the hillside. You will enjoy the view from the famous Salto dei Ventimiglia, an extraordinary vantage point offering endless views of the valley. If you dare, try the glass walkway suspended in the air, a thrilling experience for those who do not suffer from vertigo!

From here, the Gaginian itinerary will begin, an itinerary that celebrates the works of the Gaginis, one of the most renowned families of artists in Sicily. First stop will be the marble Cona by Antonello Gagini in the Church of S. Bartolomeo in Geraci Siculo. In the evening, transfer to Petralia Soprana for an overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2: Petralia Soprana and Petralia Sottana

The day will begin with a visit to Petralia Soprana's three suggestive belvederes, from which you will admire the surrounding mountains and landscapes stretching as far as Mount Etna. The beauty of the majolica spires and historic squares will transport you back in time, as you visit the Church of Santa Maria di Loreto, home to a splendid work by Gian Domenico Gagini.

You will then proceed to the Madonie Adventure Park for an experience of fun and contact with nature. Here you can try your hand at archery and enjoy a genuine lunch at the park's restaurant. In the afternoon, the trip will continue to Petralia Sottana, with its breathtaking views and typical architecture that characterises the entire village. The last stop on the Gagini itinerary will be a visit to the marble Retablo by Gian Domenico Gagini in the Church of the Holy Trinity. Overnight stay in a hotel in Petralia Soprana.

Day 3: Madonie Park and Castelbuono

The last day is dedicated to discovering the Madonie Park, a treasure trove of biodiversity and natural beauty. The Carbonara massif, the second highest mountain in Sicily, will be the perfect backdrop for exploring unspoilt nature, among monumental trees, colourful butterflies and enchanting views.

After lunch at Rifugio Marini, in the heart of the Madonie Mountains, the tour will conclude with a visit to the picturesque village of Castelbuono. Strolling through the alleys, you will discover the charm of the historic centre and visit the Ventimiglia Castle and the Matrice Vecchia Church, admiring the medieval architecture and breathing in the unique atmosphere of this corner of Sicily.

• Lunch at the Museum-Trattoria 'Il Rifugio dell'Aquila' in Geraci Siculo.
• Two nights at the Hotel Residenza Petra in Petralia Soprana with breakfast included.
• Lunch at the Adventure Park restaurant in Petralia Sottana.
• Access to the Adventure Park and archery activities.
• Lunch at the Marini Refuge in Piano Battaglia.
• Medical/baggage insurance valid throughout the Schengen area.

• Third bed supplement: €30 per person per night.
• Deposit of 30% upon booking and balance within 30 days of departure.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation between 29 and 11 days prior to arrival: penalty of 40%.
• Cancellation within 10 days or no show: penalty of 100%.
