Departure - Cairo
Our journey to the land of the Pharaohs begins
in the capital Egypt, the largest metropolis in Africa. We land in Cairo and from the airport we are taken to our hotel, where we meet the tour leader and the rest of the group. Depending on the time of arrival, dinner is either at the hotel or on board the flight.

Cairo
We start the day with a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum, which houses rich collections of pharaonic art, the treasure of Tutankhamun's Tomb and the hall dedicated to the wonderful jewellery-talismans. Lunch is included in the city. In the afternoon we visit the Citadel, with its panoramic views of the Egyptian capital, and the Bazaar. We have dinner at the hotel.
10 APRIL 2025
Cairo - Saqqara - Giza
We explore Cairo starting at the Necropolis of Saqqara, the largest in Egypt, with its stepped pyramids and funerary monuments. After lunch we head to the Giza Plateau, where we discover the charm of the necropolis symbolically protected by the Sphinx. Here we admire the Pyramid of Cheops, the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that has survived to the present day, and the two smaller ones of Chephren and Mycerinus. We return to the hotel for dinner.
11 APRIL 2025
Cairo - Aswan
We reach the airport and board our flight to Aswan. Here we visit the Great Dam, followed by the enchanting Temple of Philae, located on an island in the Nile, once believed to be the sacred burial place of Osiris. Lunch is provided on board the ship. In the afternoon we relax with a trip on a felucca, the Nile's iconic sailing boat. We have dinner on board the motor ship.
12 APRIL 2025
Abu Simbel - Kom Ombo - Edfu
Today's morning is free. Those who wish can take part in an optional excursion to the temple of Abu Simbel. After lunch on board, we begin our navigation of the Nile, stopping at the temple of Kom Ombo, where we visit this complex from the Ptolemaic era. The most important temple is dedicated to Sobek, who is depicted with the head of a crocodile and who in Egyptian mythology represented the god of the flooding of the Nile and fertility. We continue sailing towards Efdu, dinner is provided on board.
13 APRIL 2025
Edfu - Luxor
We begin the day with a visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered the most impressive of the temples on the banks of the river. At the end of the visit, we resume sailing and through the locks of Esna we reach the beautiful Luxor. Lunch and dinner are provided on board the motor vessel.

Luxor
We devote the day to visiting Luxor, ancient Thebes. We begin with the necropolis on the west bank. After a brief stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous monolithic statues, we visit some tombs in the Valley of the Kings and Queens, with their incredible decorations. We then continue on to the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an immense funerary complex on the edge of the mountains bordering the Valley of the Kings. We have lunch on board the motorboat. In the afternoon we visit the temple complexes of Karnak and Luxor. These temples, which were the cultural and religious centre of ancient Thebes, are among the oldest and best-preserved monuments in all of Egypt. In the evening we have dinner at the hotel.

Luxor - Hurghada
We leave Luxor for the enchanting beaches of the Red Sea, a favourite destination for
lovers of relaxation that needs no introduction, where we find a sea with extraordinary reflections waiting for us. We arrive at our resort in Hurghada where we prepare to spend the rest of our trip. Lunch and dinner are planned at the hotel in Hurghada.
17 APRIL 2025 - 18 APRIL 2025
Hurghada
We have two whole free days to dedicate to relaxing on the beach. For those who love the sun and sports, this is the place to be: diving, outings on a transparent bottom boat, tennis, beach volleyball, are among the many activities offered daily by the resort team. Lunch and dinner at the hotel are offered daily with all-inclusive treatment.

Hurghada - Return
Our trip to Egypt has come to an end, and we have the last few hours to spare before saying goodbye to the land of the Pharaohs and the Red Sea. Depending on our departure time, we are taken to Hurghada airport in time to board our return flight back to Italy, with a stopover in Cairo.

Accessibility
This journey not is suitable for people with walking difficulties or severe motor disabilities, due to the inaccessibility of some sites.
Mandatory forfeit
At the start of the tour, the guide will collect the obligatory lump sum for tips, which amounts to approximately Euro 80 per person. The following entrances are not included in the programme, but if time permits and if the queue is short, those who wish can enter by purchasing a ticket on site: inside pyramid of Cheops euro 20, Tomb of Tutankhamen in the Valley of the Kings euro 10 (prices subject to reconfirmation on site).
Local guides
Up to 12 participants the tour is conducted with experienced local Italian-speaking guides, certified by Boscolo. From 13 participants onwards there will be a guide for the entire tour, who will also act as tour leader. During the seaside stay, the presence of a guide/escort is not foreseen.
Number of participants
The departure of our travel guided tours, including guaranteed tours, are confirmed with at least 10 people booked. We limit the maximum number of participants to approximately 30/35 people, depending on the capacity of the tour bus and the composition of the group.
Shared tours
The services from day 1 to day 7 are shared with the participants of the 'Ancient Egypt and Nile Cruise' tour.
Entry visa
The entry visa for Egypt can be requested at the time of booking or paid for directly on site at an approximate price of €27. We suggest purchasing from Italy to avoid waiting time at the arrival airport.
Internal flights in Egypt
In some cases, tickets for internal flights are issued by our local correspondent, so the timetables for these flights may be missing in the TICKETS section of the travel documents. The flight details will be communicated directly on site by our accompanying guide. In addition, the group may be split between flights with different schedules, however assistance in Italian will always be provided.
Order of Visits
The order of the visits may change on site, independently of our will. In any case, all the stops mentioned in the itinerary will be guaranteed.
Period of Ramadan
In 2025 it will be from 28 February to 29 March. During this period, the programme may be subject to changes that cannot be foreseen in advance, related to changes in the opening hours of offices and businesses. Slowdowns and delays in services and meals and restrictions on the use and sale of alcoholic beverages are also possible. We recommend sobriety in attitude and dress.
Excursion to Abu Simbel
The excursion, by bus, is always available and can be booked on site.
Unassigned bus seats
For this trip, the seat in the bus for visits and excursions is guaranteed but NOT assigned.
Overnight stays in a triple room
Please note that in many establishments the triple room, even if provided, involves accommodation in a standard double room with an additional cot or cot, resulting in a reduction in comfort.
