Day 01 | Hanoi Arrival (-)
Arrival in Hanoi. Meeting with the guide and transfer to the city centre. Overnight stay in a hotel in Hanoi. (Room available from 14.00 hrs.) Lunch and dinner at leisure.

Day 02 | Hanoi Visit (B)
A full day dedicated to visiting Vietnam's current capital: the Temple of Literature (built in 1070, dedicated to Confucius and the Literati, Vietnam's first royal national university in 1076) the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed every Monday and Friday) and the One Pillar Pagoda. In the afternoon, visit of the Hoa Lo Prison - called the Hanoi Hilton - infamous for torture during the Vietnam War. Finally, visit the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is located in the Ba Dinh district of Hanoi, just 1.5 km east of the Old Quarter. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 03 | Ha Noi - Ha Long (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart for Ha Long Bay (Vinh Ha Long) where you will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful panorama of the surrounding countryside. Arrive in Vinh Ha Long in the late morning and board the junk boat to begin the bay cruise. During the cruise, visit the Mysterious Caves, named after many local legends. Delicious lunch and dinner are served on board the junk. Overnight stay on board the junk in a private cabin.

Day 04 | Ha Long - Ha Noi - Da Nang - Hoi An (B)
After a cup of tea or coffee, we leave our junk and set off in sampans (typical boats) to visit the famous caves.

At the end of the morning transfer to Ha Noi airport for the flight to Da Nang. Transfer to Hoi An and overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 | Hoi An visit - Hue (B)
After breakfast, visit the city of Hoi An, a world heritage site, and see the main sites such as the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, Phung Hung's ancient house, the market, the harbour, the Chuc Thanh pagoda the oldest pagoda in Hoi An (1454) erected by a Chinese monk. In the afternoon, depart for Hue, passing on the 'Mandarin Road' through the 'Hill of Clouds' from where you can admire Da Nang and its enchanting surroundings. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 06 | Hue visit - Sai Gon (B)
After breakfast, visit Hue - Vietnam's former capital of the Nguyen dynasty, which ruled from 1802 to 1945, is known as 'the city of peace and poetry' and attracts tourists for the romantic charm of its historical monuments. Visit the Forbidden Citadel and the ancient house of Xuan Vien Tieu Cung. Then, visit the mausoleum of Khai Dinh. Finally, visit the Thien Mu Pagoda (known as the Pagoda of the Heavenly Lady). Transfer to the airport for the flight to Sai Gon. Arrival in Sai Gon, meet the guide, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07 | Sai Gon - Cu Chi - Sai Gon visit (B)
After breakfast, we begin a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, located 50 km north-west of Ho Chi Minh. This complex system of underground war tunnels, 250 km long, was built by day and night by the inhabitants during the clash with the Americans. In the afternoon, visit the Reunification Palace, also known as the Independence Palace, home and office of the President of South Vietnam during the war. Afterwards, visit to the War Museum, conceived as a denunciation of the American aggression against Vietnam, presents very crude photos and a collection of weapons including fighter planes, displayed in the garden. At the end, visit of the Ben Thanh market. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 | Sai Gon - My Tho - Sai Gon (B, L)
After breakfast, meet your guide and transfer to My Tho (Mekong Delta). The tour will begin by sampan to go downstream around the floating fish village on the Tien River and see four islands called Long - Lan - Qui - Phung. Cruising the Xep Canal by sampan, you will be amazed by the view of what was once a jungle. Walking on the trail
local in the shade. Stop by a local family where you can talk to a farmer and learn how the locals cultivate their garden or farm, enjoy some tropical fruit with the family.
Drive along the village trail in an XE LAM (a type of vehicle similar to a tuk tuk) that was the main mode of transport in the 1960s. Along the way, you can stop to see how the locals work with their coconuts, which are well known as their speciality. Visit a local workshop where you can learn how to make coconut candies and fiery rice wine, taste some candies and rice wine with your family while enjoying a cup of warm honey tea. Sitting on a rowboat in a small stream with beautiful
coconut palms along two sides. Walking or cycling in the tropical orchards. Lunch may be served at a local family. Return to Sai Gon. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 09 | Sai Gon departure - driver only (B)
After breakfast, free time. Room is available until noon.Transfer to the airport with driver only for flight
return to Italy. End of services.
