Continuing towards theArches National Parkyou will be greeted by unique rock formations, sculpted into arches by the process of erosion.

The next stop is the Bryce Canyon National Parkwith its strange rock pillars known as 'hoodoos'. Admire a surreal landscapeespecially at dawn or dusk, when the colours of the sky are reflected on the rock formations.

L'itinerary proceeds in the direction of Las Vegascity of twinkling lights and oasis of entertainment unbridled. Next, the tour takes you through the desolate and fascinating Death Valleyan immense expanse of desert with breathtaking scenery. 1ST DAY - 10 AUGUST 2024: ROME - LOS ANGELES (-/-/-)

Departure from Rome Fiumicino airport on scheduled ITA AZ 620 flight at 9:20 a.m. bound for Los Angeles; arrival at 1:10 p.m.; after customs formalities, meeting with your Italian-speaking guide, who will be waiting for you at the exit to assist you with the transfer by private bus to your hotel; afternoon at leisure.
Accommodation in reserved rooms at the Holiday Inn LAX Airport hotel.

DAY 2 - 11 AUGUST 2024: LOS ANGELES - KINGMAN (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, meet your guide and depart by private coach for Arizona, passing through the Mojave Desert; arrive in Kingman, an important location on Route 66, and visit the local museum dedicated to the "Mother Road"; overnight at the Hampton Inn Kingman hotel.

DAY 3 - 12 AUGUST 2024: KINGMAN - GRAND CANYON (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure along the Route 66 route with a visit to Seligman (location that inspired the film "Cars") and Williams; on to the Grand Canyon Park, a deep and immense gorge created by the Colorado River with a height of about 1,500 metres and a length of about 450 km, an abyss that splits between two banks: North and South Rim.
Between these, the canyon widens and narrows along its endless course, even reaching a distance of 29 km; overnight at the Grand Canyon Plaza hotel.

DAY 4 - 13 AUGUST 2024: GRAND CANYON - PAGE (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, complete a tour of the South Rim, including Desert View, a scenic viewpoint of the South Rim.
Continue on to Page and visit the Antelope Canyon "X", where you will admire a continuous play of light and shadow and be enraptured by the sinuous shapes of the walls that take on all varieties of colours from yellow to red; afterwards, visit the Horseshoe Bend. Possibility to visit the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell.

DAY 5 - 14 AUGUST 2024: PAGE - MONUMENT VALLEY - KAYENTA (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart for the Navajo Indian Reservation, until you reach Monument Valley, an indelible icon of the American West, with its three great red sand monoliths silhouetted against the horizon.
The 'Navajo' tribal park (30,000 hectares), established in 1958, is located on the border between the state of Arizona and the state of Utah. You will discover the picturesque valley on an all-terrain vehicle excursion (duration 1 ½ hours).
Transfer to Kayenta and overnight at the Monument Valley Inn.

DAY 6 - 15 AUGUST 2024: KAYENTA - DURANGO (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for the Mesa Verde Park, a fascinating archaeological site, where it will be possible to take part in guided tours of the cave villages, such as the unmissable Cliff Palace; continuation to Durango where a visit to the railway station is recommended; overnight at the Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn Durango.

7 DAY - 16 AUGUST 2024: DURANGO - MOAB (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel; depart for Utah to Arches Park, famous for its distinctive arch-shaped rock formations, including the spectacular Delicate Arch, ideal for watching the sunset.

DAY 8 - 17 AUGUST 2024: MOAB - BRYCE CANYON (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel; drive through Capitol Reef Park to Bryce Canyon, a natural wonder in the state of Utah. Guided tour of the park.
Symbols of this park are the 'Hoodoos', tall, thin, natural geological formations produced by the erosion of rocky sediments from rivers and lakes, and characterised by a colouration tending towards red, orange, pink and white.
Another landmark is the 'Natural Bridge', a large and fascinating arch carved into a wide fissure in the rock. It is like stepping into an amphitheatre on the edge of a beautiful forest.

DAY 9 - 18 AUGUST 2024: BRYCE CANYON - LAS VEGAS (B/-/-)

Depart for Zion National Park, famous for its sumptuous pink sandstone formations. Weathering erosion over millions of years has created a spectacular area of large pink and white sandstone rocks in Navajo land.
A fascinating natural park, characterised by a deep gorge carved by the Virgin River, a wide and truly breathtaking canyon with cliffs dropping some 3,000 metres.
After the visit, we continue on to Las Vegas, a kind of 24-hour amusement park and toyland, located in the state of Nevada, is the right city for those who love the risk of gambling, unbridled fun and ostentatious luxury.
Those visiting Las Vegas for the first time cannot fail to be impressed by the lights, colours and optical effects of the downtown streets.
The city's main street, The Strip, is a long avenue about three miles long that bisects the city and houses the largest and most lavish hotels and casinos in the world.

DAY 10 - 19 AUGUST 2024: LAS VEGAS - MAMMOTH LAKES (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel; you will leave the vast Nevada desert to begin your ascent into the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains. En route, stop at Death Valley (weather permitting).
Covering an area of about 13,500 square kilometres, Death Valley is a landscape full of contrasts: the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere, towering mountains, gigantic sand dunes, isolated valleys and volcanic craters, one of the wonders of nature, with its arid desert landscape.
The 'Valley of Death' records the hottest temperatures on the planet, sometimes more than 50°C in the shade.
Definitely worth visiting within this park are: Zabriskie Point reveals a beautiful palette of colours at sunrise and sunset; Badwater is the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere, it is about 85 m below sea level; Salt Creek, the lake waters that have evaporated due to heat have left salt on the surface.
After the visit, we drive to Mammoth Lakes, a renowned Californian ski resort.
Two wonderful sights not to be missed are Rainbow Falls and Devil's Postpile, the latter famous for its hexagonal basalt columns.

11TH DAY - 20 AUGUST 2024: MAMMOTH LAKES - OAKHURST (B/-/-)

Leaving Mammoth Lakes, one reaches the impressive Tioga Pass, through which one enters the world-famous Yosemite National Park.
The most famous in California, with its landscapes sculpted by prehistoric glaciers, here you can admire the impressive waterfalls, lush forests and massive rock formations that characterise this magnificent natural area. A breathtaking landscape.
The main features of Yosemite National Park in California are its imposing mountains of rocky granite.
And for this, there is a mountain that rises above the rest, known as 'El Capitan'.
Very nice to see because you are in the middle of nature and can appreciate beautiful landscapes.
"El Capitan" has become the great icon of Yosemite National Park.

DAY 12 - 21 AUGUST 2024: OAKHURST - SAN FRANCISCO (B/-/-)

The tour will continue westwards to San Francisco, one of the best-known destinations in the United States. It has developed its own personality thanks to the mix of different cultures and ethnicities, such as Native Americans, Spanish settlers, gold-seeking adventurers and numerous European, African and Asian immigrants.
In fact, there are neighbourhoods like Japantown, Little Italy and Chinatown.
San Francisco is famous for the Golden Gate Bridge, which is very often seen in films, it is the symbol of the city, you can also cross it on foot and enjoy a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay.
Alcatraz Island is located in the middle of San Francisco Bay.
Here is the famous prison that is now disused, but you can visit the facility and see how the inmates lived.
Another characteristic aspect of San Francisco is the streets that are a constant up and down, due to the steepness of the roads, which nevertheless afford spectacular views of the city and the surrounding mountains.
It is very famous Lombard Street with super steep curves that you will surely have seen in some movie.

DAY 13 - 22 AUGUST 2024: SAN FRANCISCO (B/-/-)

DAY 14 - 23 AUGUST 2024: DEPARTURE FROM SAN FRANCISCO (B/-/-)

First part of the morning at leisure; then transfer by coach (no guide) to the airport, in time for the departure of flight ITA AZ 641 at 15:15 to Rome Fiumicino.
