We will visit the famous temple of Hagia Sophia, the largest shrine in the world until the 17th century, built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century, converted into a museum in 1935 and now a mosque, it was undoubtedly the most conspicuous monument in Constantinople. After this visit, we continue to the Topkapi Palace. Immediately after the conquest of Constantinople (1453) the Ottoman sultans inhabited a wooden palace (called Eski Saray i.e. Old Palace) in the area now known as Beyazit, but as early as 1468 Mehmet II the Conqueror had a summer residence built as a place where the entire Ottoman Empire was ruled for
almost 400 years. Stop for lunch. Afterwards, we will see the ancient Roman hippodrome. Work on the construction of a hippodrome was begun in the time of Septimius Severus, in 203 AD. Constantine I expanded this project by proposing a larger building, the remains of which can still be seen today, Hagia Sophia. We conclude with a visit to the famous Blue Mosque. The mosque is built on part of the area once occupied by the hippodrome and Byzantine imperial palaces. Construction of this mosque began in 1609 and work was completed in 1616. At the end of the tour, our guides will take you to the Grand Bazaar and an entire shopping district where the various areas occupied by shops and the streets formed between them are covered with a multitude of domes and surrounded by a wall on which gates open so that together they form one large block. End of the excursion, return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 3: Istanbul by Cruise
After breakfast departure for a tour that includes the Egyptian Market, also known as the Spice Bazaar founded by Genoese and Venetian merchants in the 17th century as a market for spices and perfumes. It is one of the most fascinating places in Istanbul. After visiting the bazaar, cruise on the Bosphorus to get to know one of the most beautiful places in the city. Along the boat ride we will admire a very beautiful landscape, characterised by the presence of several yalı, the large wooden mansions characteristic of Ottoman architecture. At the end of the cruise, a visit to the mosque of Rustem Pasha, who would be the son-in-law of the great sultan the Magnificent Suleiman. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
