DAY 1 | SATURDAY: ITALY - MADRID
Individual departure from Italy to Madrid. Arrival and free transfer to the 4* Agurmar hotel. At 20:30, meeting with the guide and the other tour participants. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2 | SUNDAY: MADRID - BURGOS - BILBAO (400 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Burgos and guided tour of its medieval town, which still retains its original structure and in particular its spectacular Cathedral. Continuation to Bilbao, arrival and accommodation at the 4* Barcelo Bilbao Nervion hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3 | MONDAY: BILBAO - SAN SEBASTIAN - BILBAO (200 KM)
Breakfast, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Departure for San Sebastian, a town in a privileged location facing a spectacular bay flanked by two hills. Panoramic visit through its beautiful and stately streets along the bay. Return to Bilbao and panoramic visit of its historical centre, Casco Viejo and the imposing building of the Guggenheim Museum, which has become a modern symbol of the city (entrance fees and interior visit not included).

DAY 4 | TUESDAY: BILBAO - SANTANDER - SANTILLANA DE MAR - COMILLAS - OVIEDO (280 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Santander, considered for centuries the commercial port of Castile with its Palacio de la Magdalena facing the sea, now used as a summer university. Continuation to Santillana de Mar, a national monument for its characteristic streets and stone houses decorated in wood. Stop and visit Comillas with its modernist palace 'The Capriccio', the work of the genius Gaudi. Continuation to Oviedo along the coast with a splendid view of the sea. Arrival in Oviedo and accommodation at the 4* Exe Oviedo Centro hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5 | WEDNESDAY: OVIEDO - SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (330 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, guided tour of the city, with its two 9th-century pre-Romanesque churches (Santa Maria del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo), considered to be of great historical and artistic value. Visit to the beautiful Cathedral (exterior). In the afternoon, departure for Santiago de Compostela. Arrival and accommodation at the 4* Oca Puerta del Camino hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6 | THURSDAY: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast, dinner and overnight stay in a hotel. The city of Santiago de Compostela owes its name to the Apostle Santiago, whose remains were found here in the 9th century. This discovery quickly led the place to become a point of pilgrimage from all over Europe. The city grew up in the shadow of the Cathedral, erected on the site of the discovery. In the morning, a guided tour of the city, ending with the Cathedral, in time to attend the popular 'pilgrim's mass', where the botafumeiro (a giant incense-burner) that has become the symbol of the city is often seen 'flying'. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 7 | FRIDAY: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA - O'CEBREIRO - ASTORGA - MADRID (690 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Astorga with a short stop in O'Cebreiro, a characteristic small mountain village where the atmosphere of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago can be experienced. Arrival in Astorga and exterior visit to the Cathedral and the modernist Bishop's Palace, built by the great Antonio Gaudi. In the afternoon departure to Madrid, arrival and accommodation at the 4* Agumar Hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 8 | SATURDAY: MADRID - ITALY
Breakfast at the hotel. Free transfer to the airport in time for your flight back to Italy. End of services.

Optional supplement: organised airport/hotel/airport transfer (from min. 2 persons): € 84.
