Day 2 - CRATERE DI NGORONGORO - SERENGETI
After breakfast you will head to Ngorongoro and descend into the crater for the game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is an ancient volcanic crater that formed about 2-3 million years ago
during a massive volcanic eruption. The resulting caldera has a diameter of about 20 kilometres and is one of the largest volcanic craters in the world. The interior of the crater is an incredibly diverse landscape, home to a wide range of ecosystems. From above, it looks like a world apart, a natural amphitheatre with steep walls rising above the surrounding plains. The crater offers a variety of habitats, including grasslands, lakes, swamps and forests, creating a rich and diverse ecological environment. This ecological diversity has led to the formation of a
densest and most diverse concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Vegetation in the Ngorongoro Crater varies according to altitude and water availability. One can find open grasslands, acacia forests, swamps and lakes, each with its own flora adapted to the specific conditions of the habitat. The crater is famous for its extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Animals that inhabit the area include elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, black rhinos, wildebeests, zebras and numerous species of antelopes. It is also an important nesting site for birds, with over 500 documented species. Lunch inside the park and afternoon departure for the Serengeti National Park
Day 3 - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, a full day of game drives begins in the Serengeti National Park, one of the largest national parks in Africa, covering an area of about 30,000 square kilometres. It is located in the northern part of Tanzania, bordering the Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya to the north. It is part of a vast ecosystem that also includes other protected areas. The landscape of the Serengeti is incredibly diverse, ranging from endless plains to rolling hills, forests and rock formations. It is crossed by the Grumeti River and the Mara River, which are important for animal migration. One of the most striking features of the Serengeti is the annual migration of animals. Every year, millions of wildebeests, zebras and
Antelopes move through the park following a circular route in search of fresh pastures. This spectacular natural phenomenon is known as the Great Migration. The
Serengeti is renowned for its incredible biodiversity. In addition to migrating wildebeest and zebra, the park is home to a wide range of species, including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, black rhinoceros, hippo and numerous bird species. The variety of habitats, including grasslands, savannahs, forests and rivers, contributes to the richness of the wildlife. The Serengeti National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is engaged in various conservation activities to protect its extraordinary biodiversity. Efforts have been made to combat illegal hunting, preserve natural habitats and involve local communities in the sustainable management of resources. Lunch inside the park
Day 4 - SERENGETI - KARATU
Morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park The Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration, one of the world's greatest natural spectacles. Every year, around 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and other antelopes move through the park in search of new pastures and water. This migratory cycle is an exceptional phenomenon of adaptation and survival.
The park witnesses unusual connections between different species. For example, there are friendships between cats as big as lions and cheetahs with canids such as hyenas. These links
astonishing defy wilderness expectations. In the Grumeti River, which runs through the Serengeti, one of the largest populations of hippos in Africa can be found. These animals spend much of the day in the water to avoid the heat and emerge at night to graze. The Serengeti is home to one of the few remaining populations of black rhinoceroses in Tanzania. These majestic animals are threatened by illegal hunting for their horn, and conservation efforts are ongoing to protect them. Packed lunch in the park and departure for Karatu
Day 5 - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

The Tarangire is located south-west of Arusha, in the northern region of Tanzania. It is part of the so-called 'Northern Circuit', a famous national park route that also includes the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara. The Tarangire landscape is diverse and includes open grasslands, savannahs, swamps, acacia forests and a series of
low hills. The Tarangire River flows through the park, contributing to the creation of wildlife oases along its banks. The park is characterised by a variety of vegetation, with abundant acacias, baobabs, palms and other plants adapted to arid conditions. The presence of the Tarangire River supports the growth of riverine forests that provide shelter and food resources for many species of animals.
