DAY 1 | TUESDAY: ITALY - ATHENS
Individual departure from Italy for Athens. Arrival and organised transfer to the 4* Novus City hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 | WEDNESDAY: ATHENS - DELPHI - MOUZAKI (398 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a visit to the archaeological site of Delphi situated in a picturesque and fascinating location on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, a sacred place in antiquity and considered 'the centre of the world'. Walking along the Via Sacra it is possible to admire  the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, the Theatre and the Stadium. In the museum, the famous bronze sculpture of the Charioteer, dating from 475 B.C. afterwards free lunch and departure for Mouzakismall town below the Pindos mountain range near the Meteors. Accommodation at the 4* Mouzaki Palace hotel, dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 | THURSDAY: MOUZAKI - METEORS - ATHENS (397 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a visit to the Meteor Monasteries: in uno scenario unico, sulla sommità di enormi rocce e sospesi tra la terra ed il cielo, si ergono i famosi Monasteri considerati esemplari unici di arte Bizantina che custodiscono all’interno grandi historical treasures e religiosi. I monaci si sono stabiliti su queste cime a partire dall’XI secolo. Il sito è stato riconosciuto dall’Unesco come fenomeno unico del patrimonio culturale per gli affreschi, la tecnica di costruzione e le qualità naturali. Le Meteore sono composte da circa 60 enormi colonne di roccia, che arrivano fino a 300 metri di altezza, grandi abbastanza per essere la base di un intero monastero costruito sulla cima. A partire dall’anno 1000 fino al 1500 sono stati eretti 24 monasteri, di cui solo pochi sono oggi abitati da monaci. Pranzo opzionale in ristorante a Kalambaka. Return to Athens and, on the way, short stop at Thermopylae and the monument of Leonidas. Arrival at Athensaccommodation at the 4* Novus City hotel, overnight.

DAY 4 | FRIDAY: ATHENS-ITALY
Breakfast at the hotel. Organised transfer to the airport in time for your flight back to Italy. End of services.

Please note: for passengers who choose not to take the optional extra lunches during the tour (on days 2 and 3), please note that in any case the bus will make a stop for the driver together with the rest of the group at the restaurant, and consequently no transfer service is provided to or from the nearest town if these restaurants are in isolated locations.
Appropriate clothing is recommended for the visit to the Meteor Monasteries: low-cut dresses, shorts and miniskirts are not allowed. We suggest that ladies wear skirts and men long trousers. In the event that entry to the Monastery is prohibited, entry will not be refunded.
