A hop to Malta

DAY 1 : ITALY - LUQA/LA VALLETTA
Individual departure from Italy for Luqa. Arrival and organised transfer to a 4* hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 : THE VALE
Breakfast and overnight at the hotel. Meet your guide and depart for a visit to Valletta, the capital of Malta and a UNESCO World Heritage City that can be considered an open-air museum. Its buildings dating back to the 16th century, built during the period of the Knights of the Order of St John of Jerusalem, are characteristic. You will admire the typical architecture of the capital, mainly Baroque but with strong Mannerist, Neo-Classical and Modernist influences. You will visit the Baracca Gardens from where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Grand Harbour of Valletta. Afterwards, visit the beautiful St John's Co-Cathedral where an original Caravaggio can be admired. At the end, return to the hotel and afternoon at leisure for individual visits.

DAY 3 : LA VALLETTA - MARSAXKLOKK - BLUE GROTTO - DINGLI CLIFF - LA VALLETTA
Breakfast and overnight stay in the hotel. A day of relaxation. Visit to Marsaxklokk, a fishermen's village in the south of the island that is very quaint and picturesque. The bright colours of the "luzzu", the typical local fishermen's boats that moor around the perimeter of the village and make it unique, will immediately stand out. Here it will be possible to taste the tastiest fish on the entire island.
Continue to Blue Grotto, a unique location for its colours and scenery. Here you will visit, by means of a typical local boat, the bays and caves that characterise this area and which are famous precisely because the water takes on a unique colour.
Afterwards, we continue on to the cliffs of Dingli, perhaps the place that offers the most scenic most spectacular of Malta. Cliffs drop sheer into the sea and create a unique spectacle of natural light and colour. Here you can take a walk to enjoy the view and bid farewell to Malta in the best possible way. Return to the hotel.

DAY 4 : LA VALLETTA/LUQA - ITALY
Breakfast at the hotel. Organised transfer to the airport in time for your flight back to Italy. End of services.

Fees include: - scheduled flight to/from the airport in Valletta - transfers to/from the airport in Valletta - coach tour as per the programme with local Italian-speaking guide from day 2 to day 3 - 3 nights in a 4* comfort category hotel in a double room - entrances as per the programme - return ferry to Gozo (only for departures until 21/04) - treatment as per the programme (3 breakfasts).
