The city of Stirling, better known as 'the gateway to the Highlands', is one of the smallest cities in Scotland. The capital of the administrative area of the same name, it is a city full of history and secrets! Stirling has been the stage for many wars over the centuries, including 'the War of Independence', which is also why the city holds so many stories, myths and legends. Surely the most iconic landmark is the famous Stirling Castle, built on a rocky peak called Castle Hill, and consisting of buildings and architectural elements dating from the 14th to the 18th century.
The mysterious world of Stirling is ready to unveil its mysteries.
The University of Stirling is a magnificent environment in which to study and learn the English language. The many green spaces create a breathtaking atmosphere, along with the first-class facilities that the university offers, from modern classrooms to sports facilities, where you can practice even the most original Scottish sports.
Student rooms are located on campus, all with private bathrooms and common areas including a kitchen and relaxation area, where students can interact with each other and get to know each other better, a wonderful opportunity to make new friends.
Security is guaranteed 24 hours a day through a night-time security system and video surveillance, as well as a secure access method to the flats.
The English language course is taught by native speakers who are highly qualified in teaching English to foreigners. During the first day of class, students will take a language proficiency test in order to be placed in the class most suited to their level. Classes are organised by level, from elementary to advanced (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1).
There are 15 hours of lessons per week. Classes are held from Monday to Friday, alternating weeks in the morning or afternoon. Each class consists of a maximum of 15 students.
The classrooms are comfortable and bright, equipped with Wi-Fi, projectors and multimedia boards. Textbooks and teaching materials are provided directly by the school.
