Belgium Trip: Itinerary and Tour Details
01 NOVEMBER 2024 - Departure from Brussels
Our exciting journey in Belgium begins with arrival in Brussels. Once we land, we will be met and taken to our hotel via a private transfer. Depending on our arrival time, we may have some free time to explore the Belgian capital on our own. In the late afternoon, we will meet with the tour leader who will follow us throughout the tour. The day will end with an included dinner.
02 NOVEMBER 2024 - Discovery of Brussels
The day begins with a guided tour of Brussels, a city full of contrasts where the Art Nouveau architecture, 19th-century buildings and modern glass structures of the European quarter coexist harmoniously with extensive parks and gardens. We will start with a bus tour that will take us to the most modern attractions, such as the Atomium. Afterwards, we will explore the beautiful old town on foot, developed around the majestic Grand Place. After lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon will be free, offering the opportunity to further explore the city or simply relax. Dinner will be free.
03 NOVEMBER 2024 - Day in Ghent and Bruges
In the morning, we will set off for Gent, where we will visit its charming old town and St. Bavon Cathedral, a jewel of Flemish Gothic architecture housing the famous painting 'The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb' by the Van Eyck brothers. After the visit, we head to Bruges, where we have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we explore this romantic medieval city, with its charming centre overlooking the canals. Dinner will be free, allowing us to choose from the many local restaurants.
04 NOVEMBER 2024 - Visit Antwerp
The day will be dedicated to visiting Antwerp, the city that was the birthplace of Rubens and Van Dyck. With an experienced guide, we will admire the medieval buildings, including the monumental City Hall and the palaces overlooking the main square. We will also discover the city's architectural eclecticism, which includes contemporary works such as Zaha Hadid's brand-new Port House and the Court of Justice building, as well as splendid examples of Art Nouveau. After a free lunch, we will visit the Plantin-Moretus Museum, one of the oldest printing works in the world, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The evening will end with an included dinner.
05 NOVEMBER 2024 - Return to Brussels
Our trip to Belgium comes to an end. Depending on the time of our return flight, we will still have some free time to do some shopping or visit some other Brussels attractions on our own. Afterwards, we will be driven to Brussels airport in time for our flight back to Italy.

Additional Information:
At the beginning of the trip, the accompanying person will collect an obligatory lump sum of approximately 30-40 Euro per person, the exact amount of which will be communicated on site. This forfait covers entrance fees to the museums and monuments included in the programme. Entrances are booked in advance by Boscolo in order to guarantee the smooth running of the itinerary, therefore it will not be possible to apply any concessions for specific eligible categories.
Local Italian-speaking guides are provided for the visits included in the programme.
Each departure of our guided tours, including guaranteed tours, is only confirmed when there are at least 10 participants. To ensure an enjoyable and safe travel experience, the maximum number of participants is limited to approximately 30-35 persons, depending on bus capacity and group composition.
