DAY 1 | SATURDAY: ITALY - ATHENS
Individual departure from Italy for Athens. Arrival and shared organised transfer to the 3* Athens Platinum hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2 | SUNDAY: ATHENS
Breakfast, dinner and overnight stay in a hotel. In the morning guided tour of the city with the Sydagma (Constitution) Square, the Parliament, the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, the National Library and along the street named after Herodes Atticus: the Euzonians, the Presidential Palace, the Panathinaiko Stadium and towards the Acropolis: Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Jupiter. This is followed by a visit to the Acropolis with the masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens and the National Archaeological Museum. In the afternoon we will reach the southernmost part of Attica: Cape Sounio, where the Temple of Poseidon is located, boasting one of the most spectacular views of the Aegean Sea. Afterwards return to the hotel.

DAY 3 | MONDAY: ATHENS - CORINTH - EPIDAURUS - NAUPLIA - MYCENAE - OLYMPIA (340 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the Corinth Canal (short photo stop). Followed by a visit to the Theatre of Epidaurus, a theatre with perfect acoustics. Afterwards departure to Nafplio, famous for the Palamis Fortress (short photo stop); on to Mycenae and a visit to the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Archaeological Site. After lunch (free) departure for Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4* Olympic Village Hotel.

DAY 4 | TUESDAY: OLYMPIA - DELPHI/ARACHOVA (250 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit to the Archaeological Site of Olympia with the Sanctuary of Zeus Olympio, the ancient stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Afterwards, departure for Arachova via the beautiful bridge that crosses the Corinthian Bay and connects Rio and Antirio, passing through the picturesque town of Nafpactos (Lepanto). In the evening we arrive at the picturesque village of Arachova, built on the slope of Mount Parnassos and known for its handicrafts of carpets and colourful quilts. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4* Hotel Anemolia.

DAY 5 | WEDNESDAY: DELPHI - KALAMBAKA (250 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Delphi and visit to the Archaeological Site with the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum. In the afternoon, departure for Kalambaka and short stop along the way at Thermopylae and the Monument of Leonidas. Arrival in Kalambaka, a small town spread out below the amazing Meteor complex. Dinner and overnight stay at the 3* Famissi Hotel.

DAY 6 | THURSDAY: KALAMBAKA - METEOR MONASTERIES - IOANNINA (110 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Meteor Monasteries (visit 2 monasteries). In a unique setting, on top of huge rocks and as if suspended between the earth and the sky, stand the famous ageless monasteries, considered unique examples of Byzantine art, which hold great historical and religious treasures inside. In the afternoon, departure for the lands of ancient Epirus, a kingdom as famous and important in classical times as its King Pyrrhus. Arrival in Ioannina in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4* hotel The Lake.

Please note: Appropriate clothing is recommended for the visit to the Meteor Monasteries: low-cut dresses, shorts and miniskirts are not allowed. For ladies we suggest wearing a skirt and for men long trousers. In the event that entry to the Monastery is prohibited, entry will not be refunded.

DAY 7 | FRIDAY: IOANNINA - METSOVO - KALAMBAKA (120 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, a short walk through the old town and boarding the boat to the island of Lake Pamvotida. Departure for Metsovo, a characteristic mountain village with a beautiful view. Time at leisure. Return to Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight stay at the 3* Famissi hotel.

DAY 8 | SATURDAY: KALAMBAKA - TRIKALA - ATHENS (350 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit to the natural history museum in Kalambaka and a local wine cellar. Continuation to Trikala and stop for lunch (free). Return to Athens via the town of Larisa. Dinner and overnight stay at the 3* Athens Platinum hotel.

DAY 9 | SUNDAY: ATHENS - ITALY
Breakfast at the hotel. Organised shared transfer to the airport in time for your flight back to Italy. End of services.
