Day 1
The tour will begin with a day's arrival at Baglio Donna Franca Wine Resort in Marsala, a perfectly restored 19th-century baglio, located in the heart of the Marsala countryside, on the hills facing the Stagnone Reserve and the Egadi Islands. It was here, three centuries ago, that a legendary wine, Marsala, was born.
At 6.30 p.m. you will be expected for a guided tour of the winery with a tasting of 3 labels chosen by the Baglio Donna Franca staff in combination with local zero-kilometre products.
Afterwards, sit back and relax in one of the comfortable and spacious rooms directly inside the Wine Resort.

Day II
After breakfast, head for the embarkation for the island of Mozia (Mothia), easily accessible by car, an ancient Phoenician colony on the island of San Pantaleo in the Stagnone Nature Reserve of Marsala, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.
Once on the island, you will be able to discover its charm and the attached Archaeological Museum named after Giuseppe Whitaker, located in the building that was his residence on the island. It houses artefacts from the historic Whitaker Collection and from excavations carried out by the Soprintendenza della Sicilia Occidentale expeditions.
After the excursion to the island of Mozia, we recommend that you take some time to explore the town of Marsala, not far from there. Visit the historic centre and stroll along the waterfront.
In the evening you will return to Baglio Donna Franca. Here, waiting for you at the appointed time will be a lesson in the Trapanese cous cous school, which includes dinner with rustic starter and cous cous.
Overnight stay at the Wine Resort.

After breakfast, head towards Marsala.
During the whole day, you can freely visit the city and discover all its beauty and traditions.
In the late afternoon, you will head to the Marsala Salt Pans for a visit to the 16th-century Windmill, still in operation today. Afterwards, you will move on to Mamma Caura, an exclusive sunset bar inside the Ettore and Infersa Salt Pans where you can enjoy an excellent aperitif and the spectacle of colours offered by the sunset, which has been awarded fourth place among the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
In the evening, return to Baglio Donna Franca for an overnight stay.

Day 4
After breakfast, end of our services.
If you still have some free time left before your return, we recommend you spend it in the city of Trapani, a charming coastal city in western Sicily that captivates visitors with its golden sandy beaches, picturesque harbour and charming old town.
